Growing the game is an essential part of the mission of the PGA of America. An important part of this effort is making sure that people of all backgrounds have access to and feel authentically welcome in the game and business of golf.

We recognize that we will be defined by how our commitment to Inclusion & Diversity resonates throughout our organization, as well as our programs and practices. Our goal is to make golf—both the game and the business—as diverse as the United States. We recognize that there are many dimensions to diversity—age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, ability and so much more.

In order to attract the increasingly diverse consumer population to the game, we are committed to furthering inclusion in our industry. We are working to ensure that diverse groups are well-represented among our membership, staff and vendors. To achieve this, we take a four-pronged approach to integrating diversity considerations throughout our Association: education and training, workforce diversification, vendor inclusion and community engagement.
