Social Responsibility Report

Opportunities Abroad for PGA Professionals

The PGA is partnering with Colt Mackenzie McNair (CMM), the leading executive recruitment specialist working in international golf markets, to match PGA of America Professionals with employment opportunities internationally.

This partnership is beneficial for both the PGA Professionals, who have the opportunity to develop their careers internationally, and for the host clubs who are able to benefit from the PGA Professional’s knowledge of the game and the business. Additionally, to prepare students who are interested in developing golf internationally, the PGA of America has developed a new global internship program. The program is designed to provide students seeking PGA Membership with an international experience to help them broaden their experience, gain a deeper knowledge of the global golf industry and help grow the game abroad. The program, scheduled to begin in summer 2018, will be similar to many U.S.-based internship programs, including components such as golf operations, tournament operations, player development and teaching, and golf club fitting.
